Description
Tirzecyl® is a sterile solution containing tirzepatide, a synthetic peptide analogue with activity at GIP and GLP-1 receptors. The molecule is structurally distinct from steroidal compounds and incorporates peptide modifications, including a fatty acid side-chain, which are relevant to its character as a modified peptide active substance.
The aqueous solution is suited to a peptide compound for subcutaneous injection. In this dosage form, tirzepatide is maintained in dissolved form within a sterile water-based vehicle, where the preparation is centred on peptide solubility rather than oil-depot release, ester hydrolysis or crystalline-particle dissolution.
