Description
Clenbucyl® is an oral tablet preparation containing clenbuterol hydrochloride, the hydrochloride salt form of clenbuterol. Clenbuterol is a small-molecule β2-adrenergic agonist, and the hydrochloride form provides the active substance as a defined salt suitable for solid oral dosage presentation.
The tablet format is suited to this low-molecular-weight compound for oral administration. In this dosage form, the active substance is provided as a measured unit dose intended for release after ingestion, without oil-depot release, ester hydrolysis, peptide-solubility requirements or suspension-based release from an injection site.
