Description
Epitacyl® is a sterile solution containing epitalon, a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of a short amino acid sequence. As a peptide-based compound, epitalon is structurally distinct from steroidal esters, peptide-copper complexes, and microcrystalline suspension forms.
The aqueous solution is suited to a small peptide intended for subcutaneous injection. In this format, the active substance is maintained in dissolved form within a sterile water-based vehicle, without the depot behaviour associated with oil-based esters or crystalline particles.
