Description
Cuprocyl® is a sterile solution containing GHK-Cu, a copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. The coordination of the peptide with copper distinguishes GHK-Cu from uncomplexed peptide forms and is the defining structural feature of this compound.
The aqueous solution is suited to a peptide-copper complex intended for subcutaneous injection. In this format, the active substance is maintained in dissolved form within a sterile aqueous vehicle, without the depot behaviour associated with oil-based steroid esters or crystalline suspensions.
