Description
Mixocyl 500® is a sterile oily solution containing testosterone cypionate and boldenone undecylenate. Both active substances are esterified steroid compounds, with the cypionate and undecylenate ester groups attached to the 17β-hydroxyl position of their respective parent molecules, increasing their lipophilic character for an oil-based injectable preparation.
The oily vehicle is suited to this dual long-ester composition for deep intramuscular administration. After injection, the oil phase forms a depot from which the esterified substances are released before enzymatic hydrolysis of the ester bonds yields testosterone and boldenone. The combination of two longer-chain ester forms gives the preparation a different ester profile from mixes based on acetate, propionate or phenylpropionate esters.
