Description
Retacyl® is a sterile solution containing retatrutide, a synthetic peptide analogue with activity at GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. As a peptide-based compound, retatrutide is structurally distinct from steroidal esters, small-molecule oily injectables and microcrystalline suspension forms.
The aqueous solution is suited to a peptide active substance for subcutaneous injection. In this dosage form, the compound is maintained in dissolved form within a sterile water-based vehicle, where the preparation is centred on peptide solubility rather than oil-depot release, ester hydrolysis or crystalline-particle dissolution.
