Description
Tadalacyl® is an oral tablet preparation containing tadalafil, a small-molecule compound classified as a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. Unlike salt-form presentations such as sildenafil citrate, tadalafil is presented as the active compound itself in a solid oral dosage form.
The tablet format is suited to this low-molecular-weight compound for oral administration. In this dosage form, the active substance is provided as a measured unit dose intended for release after ingestion, without oil-depot release, ester hydrolysis, peptide-solubility requirements or suspension-based release from an injection site.
